It’s world UFO day!

hi im just wondering, when you draw do you like draw on a paper first, scan then edit or draw on the PC itself already???

It depends on the project, I usually draw on paper and scan it in, but if there are a lot of really small details I’ll add those in right in photoshop. This lets me zoom in and draw smaller details that I wouldn’t be able to do with paper and a brush.

Thrilled to have contributed 2 pieces to HYDROCHLORIC #4. Check out the rest of the work:

Illustration for the latest issue of The Baffler, about the growing presence and misinformation of the 24 hour cable news cycle.

It was such a pleasure to work with an amazing AD, Patrick Flynn on this one. He gave me freedom to do what I wanted with the piece, but provided solid suggestions that ended up making a much better illustration.

Some new personal work. I’ve been trying to include more abstract objects and elements in my work lately, though some parts of this piece ended up looking a bit marine. Maybe because I’m reading 20k leagues under the sea?
